What a month it’s been for the 24six9 community! From scathing pitch roast sessions to one of the most interactive Founder’s Talk sessions so far, July was so much fun we barely noticed the scorching heat of the summer.

Pitch Roast Nights – July Edition

We kicked off July with a banger, holding a Pitch Roast night on July 5th 2024. We had founders join us from across the land to pitch their ideas, some of which had the crowd roaring. As always, we had seasoned entrepreneurs offering sage advice to young startups, and investors sharing insightful tips on what the pitchers did right and what they could improve on further.

Let’s just say the night was hilarious, from bold ideas to cheeky feedback, the atmosphere was electric. A huge shoutout to everyone who pitched, roasted, and networked, we can’t wait to have you back at 24six9 with your refined ideas and successful pitches!

Founder’s Talk with a Twist – Zaid Rahman of Flex

We had the pleasure of hosting Zaid Rahman at 24six9 on July 19th 2024, for an in-depth Q&A session. The brilliant mind behind Flex, Zaid took us on a journey through the financial ecosystem and how he built his wealth of knowledge through his startup journey. He equipped us with essential insights into what it means to truly navigate the wild world of startups, from getting rejected to being open to learning at any cost.

It was an incredible session, as Zaid shared funding strategies to cash flow hacks, dropping knowledge bombs left, right, and center. Thanks again, Zaid, for visiting us all the way from Miami!

Nurturing neurodiversity with Sophie Smith – Nabta Health

To wrap up the month of July, we welcomed the incredible Sophie Smith سوفي سميث for another edition of Founder’s Talk on July 26th 2024. Sophie shone a spotlight on what the neurodiverse crowd brings to the table regarding the startup ecosystem, and wow, what a powerful discussion it was! She helped us understand what it means to embrace different perspectives in the pursuit of innovation, and how we can nurture neurodiverse traits to our advantage. It was a riveting session, with the crowd clamoring to get their questions in. The 24six9 community truly displayed its capacity to champion inclusivity and celebrate unique talents.
