Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? As we bid adieu to January, we reflect on the highlights from the 24six9 ecosystem. January has been a month rife with tech-infused collaboration, vibrant networking sessions, and expert-led masterclasses. Let’s dive into the roundup of key events and exciting collaborations held by 24six9 in January 2024.

January Highlights - 24six9 Masterclass Series

We kicked off the month with an insightful expedition led by Abe Seksek, as part of our new Masterclass series. As the CEO of Rainmaking/Startupbootcamp took to the stage, we gathered industry leaders, tech enthusiasts, and rising entrepreneurs for an insightful discussion to define what it means to “deal with failure”. Amidst riveting audience questions and thoughtful answers by Abe, we learnt so much about the local and international tech community.

“Don’t tell everybody everything. A founder speaks to a lot of people and everyone has different advice to give. So be very selective.”

Suffice it to say the lively speaker session was a hit, with a very engaging Panel Discussion following along with Certificate distribution for the attendees If you missed this masterclass, don’t worry, we have plenty more lined up! Our second Masterclass on 26 January had Ziyaad Ahmed, Co-founder of Spotii in a Box who took the stage to give incredible insights on "How to Ace Your Pitch Deck".

Now we know we bring surprise guest speakers and talents to our weekly meetings, and this time was no different. We had a Mentalist join us, getting our crowd excited for what's to come. You can even say it made us put our business decisions in perspective when it came to what Mentalist Praveen had to showcase.

Idea Labs

Every alternative Friday, we make it our business to give innovators the floor to present their ideas in a session called the “Idea Lab”. We roast pitches, offer constructive criticism, and help pitchers find sources to collaborate with. From AI to blockchain and sustainable, relatable tech solutions, each Idea Lab session is a melting pot of ideas and positive collaboration, no matter where the idea comes from, or from whom.
