As the year begins to wind down, one thing is clear: the 24six9 communities and chapters worldwide remain unstoppable. Across our global communities and chapters, we’ve been booked and busy with events, meaningful conversations, and exciting collaborations...and the momentum shows no signs of slowing as the holiday season approaches. Let’s take a quick look at some of the highlights from October, and give you a glimpse of what’s coming next.

October Highlights

24six9 Trinidad & Tobago - Founders Talk

The first 24six9 meet-up of the month happened on October 1st in Trinidad & Tobago. The new edition of Founders Talk was held at The Burg, with founders congregating to talk “Value of Vision, Mission, Principles & Path”. Held by our absolute favourite 24six9 ambassador Jarryon Paul, we had a blast seeing founders have these foundational discussions and share their own pillars for entrepreneurial success.

24six9 Dubai - Founders Workshop

Coming back to Dubai, we had an amazing rendition of the Founders Workshop held on October 3rd, at in5 Dubai Tech. This time, we invited the ever-charming Lorena Pineda Pérez to come and talk Healthtech. Her keynote, titled “Scaling HealthTech Abroad: From Data Overload to Clear Value”, touched upon how to scale in the med tech field. More than that, Lorena shared stories on what it takes to create the perfect blueprint for a startup to scale. Big-ups to Lorena for joining us, and repping the 24six9 community!

24six9 Dubai x Tech Revolt

The following 24six9 meet-up was held on October 10th, and suffice to say, it was pretty special to us. Held in collaboration with TechRevolt, the event featured a keynote from 24six9 founder Jamil Shinawi. TechRevolt’s Editor-in-Chief Kasun Illankoon took to the stage to talk IoT, Ai and cybersecurity in 2 consequent panels. We had the privilege to host Asim Sajwani, Founder & CEO of Disrupt-X and Uday Shankar Kizhepat, VP & GM of WSO2 to talk trends. Thank you gentlemen for making an appearance.

GITEX WEEK

You never know when you’ll cross paths with fellow 24six9-ers at GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World...and this year was no exception. It’s always inspiring to connect in person with our vibrant community in such a dynamic space.

24six9 Riyadh - Founders Talk

Next, we held an electric session of Founders Talk at جادة30 | Jada30 in Riyadh on October 21st. Hosted by Adel Mazi, the session, titled “The Hidden Power of Price: How to Make (or Break) Your Startup, was a masterclass into smart pricing strategies, do’s and don'ts and best practices. Shoutout to all the founders that submitted their questions and made it an interactive session!

24six9 Trinidad & Tobago - Idea Lab

We rolled it back to Trinidad & Tobago chapter for their first ever idea lab for the end of October. Held on the 22nd, the meet-up was an excellent foray into pitching on the spot, with Jarryon Paul hosting for the night. We cannot wait to introduce more 24six9 signature meet-ups at our Trinidad & Tobago chapters, keep an eye out for what’s next!

24six9 Dubai - Pitch Roulette

You know it’s going to be an uproarious evening when Pitch Roulette is on deck. We held a crazy session on October 24th at In5 Tech Dubai, and it went exactly as expected. We laughed, we cringed, and we explored the incredible potential of 24six9 community members. It’s always a blast to see founders work their creative muscles on stage, we’ll be holding another session soon so keep an eye out!

24six9 Dubai x Akka Finance - Founders Forum

On October 31st, in partnership with Akka, we hosted an event packed with insights on AI and crypto. Moderated by Gerard M Sansoni and Hayden Hughes, the event opened with Hayden’s keynote on lessons and strategies for future-proofing in crypto. Followed by dynamic panels on Web3, featuring experts like Asal Alizade, Maryna Barysheva, Ali Khoshnafs, Hood Khizer, and Mona Tiesler, an evening of deep learning and forward-looking discussions.
