The month of April started with Eid celebrations, and celebrate we did! Welcome to another edition of 24six9 Chronicles, where we dive into the highlights of the month for the 24six9 founders community. We’ve seen some very cool activities happening this month, from workshops to a new edition of Pitch Roulette, to a very exciting session of Idea Lab, brimming with gamers this time. So grab your cuppa and let’s reflect, here we go:

Pitching on the fly

The 24six9 founders community made its way back to in5 Dubai [in5 Tech] after Eid to a fresh, new round of Pitch Roulette. We loved surprising the newcomers with outlandish startup ideas and it was an absolute treat to witness the regulars act out their crazy ideas. From AI-powered breakup consultants to edible meditation beads and hype-frenzied smart mirrors, the Pitch Roulette groups acted out their product pitches perfectly, leading to a tie win.

We’re always pleasantly surprised by the levels of creativity on display during Pitch Roulette, it’s a great study into presentation styles and selling strategies. We welcome you to sign up for the next round, coming soon.

Leading mindfully – Founders Talk with Asya Leus

On April 18, we had the privilege to host Asya Leus Business Doctor for a new edition of Founders Talk. Asya led us through her session titled Founder Burnout: Redefining Enough. With her background in clinical psychology and executive coaching, Asya shared incredible insights picked up across her journey as the CEO of LEUSCORP. Her story of surviving 5 major burnouts touched every founder in the crowd deeply, and she brought with her the data, tools and resources to help founders lead without losing themselves in the process. Don’t quote us, but she might have had the most questions asked at the end of any Founders Talk session to date. The community is excited to have you back for another session soon, Asya!

Back to the lab – Idea Lab April 2025

The last 24six9 meetup for the month was held on April 25, where we hosted some brilliant minds working from everything to online gaming to community building and real-estate flipping models, the participants had some groundbreaking ideas to share. Each participant hit the stage with a unique ask; where some were looking for investors, others wanted user acquisition and product testing, which is exactly why Idea Lab was born. We’re eager to host more innovative ideas and help bring them to light through upcoming sessions of Idea Lab, so keep an eye out!

Expanding Our Community

We’re thrilled to announce that we will be opening new chapters in Armenia, Morocco, and Cairo! These expansions represent our commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across different regions.

Furthermore, we are reactivating our Riyadh chapter this May! There are exciting developments taking place in the KSA region, and we encourage you to keep an eye out for updates as we continue to grow and build our community.
